You’ll notice that some papers seem to self-cite other papers published by the author. This is usually frowned upon in scientific circles. That’s the interesting thing about using AI in your R&D. PRESTO! AI™ showed us new, unknown and sometimes weird chemistry, that we were the first to publish on it. As we made further advances, no one was doing research on anything close to our work! While it sounds like a major ego trip, I had no choice. With no other published papers to cite, I had to self-cite my own work.
Thanks to AI, what we were seeing was “out there.” It remains so to this day. We can’t find any credible competitors.
